Big morning tea to come

“We are raising funds for cancer because we have all been affected by it in one way or another, as a family member of somebody [who has had cancer] or ourselves,” member and organiser Josie Michielin said.

Attendees can expect a day of raffles, engaging games, and prizes to be won.

As well as, of course, a spread of delicious morning tea treats prepared by the members of the bowls club themselves.

This year, GV Health Foundation ambassador and bowel-cancer survivor Vicki Scott will return as a guest speaker and will be joined by Jayne Walters.

Tickets are $15, with money to go toward the Cancer Council.

The breakfast will be held on Friday, May 3, at 10.30am at the East Shepparton Bowls Club, 2 Zurcas Lane, Shepparton.
