Opening the batting, Van Dorsser made the first ton of his career, cracking 105 not out as the Cats beat Old Students by 135 runs.
He got help from Riley Moon (35) and Brad Boyle (29) as the Cats made 4-238, before their bowlers did the job and skittled the Students for 103.
Joel May took a tidy 3-8, while Boyle also chipped in with two wickets.
Elsewhere, Katandra secured its place in the B-grade one-day final after a fightback win against Numurkah.
The Eagles could only manage 9-110 from their 45 overs as Mark Nolen top scored with 23, Reydan Lacuin taking 3-19 for the Blues.
But Katandra produced some lethal bowling to roll the Blues for 62, with Clayton Simpson (3-10) and Andrew Nicholls (2-10) leading the charge.
They will play Kyabram in the one-day final after the Redbacks eased to a 10-wicket victory against Waaia.
The Bombers were bowled out for 112 with Anthony Ciavarella's 21 the top score, before the Redbacks passed the target without losing a wicket with Tim Nelson (47 not out) and Troy Thomson (45 not out) on fire.
Karramomus recorded a strong win against Pine Lodge, making 6-212 thanks to Travis Guppy's 88.
The Lodgers batted well, but fell 41 runs short, despite a tidy 68 not out from James Nugent.

Strong bowling from Tatura had it pinch a 19-run win against Euroa, after making 142 batting first.
Tatura got 33 runs from James Collett in a quality display, with Magpie Jake Smith taking 3-18.
Carl Norton made 21 and Rahis Baig made 28 not out for the Magpies, but Zach Langlands’ 5-34 had them rolled for 123.
And Shepparton United had a good win against Central Park-St Brendan's, with 40 from Travis Gillin seeing United chase down the Tigers’ 149 with three wickets in hand.
