A Powercor spokesperson said the fault occurred on the network at around 5.40am, affecting customers in the Tatura, Harston, Murchison, Dhurringile and Toolamba areas.
“This has impacted power to about 1498 customers in Tatura and surrounding areas,” she said.
“Crews conducted a detailed patrol of the network this morning however were unable to identify a cause.”
Powercor crews managed to progressively restore power throughout the morning, with all customers back on the supply by around 9.15am.
Following the outage dozens of frustrated customers took to Facebook to share their thoughts, saying this was the third time the area had been without power over the last four days.
“Three days in a row, at least let us know what's going on,” one person said on Facebook.
When asked about the re-occurring outages, the spokesperson confirmed the cause was under investigation.
“Further inspections and testing will be conducted today to determine why the area has experienced a number of power outages over the past few days,” she said.
“We thank customers for their patience during these outages and want to assure them our teams are working to find the cause.”
