Croquet players raise funds for Shepparton Hospice

Event co-ordinator Margaret Gleeson said more than 40 people took up the challenge.

“We are a community club so we try to give back to the community as much as possible,” she said. A $900 cheque was handed to Hospice which was raised through player entries, donations and raffles.

Hospice provides a range of services including community-based palliative care, assisting family and friends throughout a loved one's illness, and integrating its services with appropriate specialised services.
