Nerdmania success for Shepparton

Nerdmania was the word on Saturday as all things weird and wacky descended on the Shepparton Showgrounds in celebration of the fifth annual show.

The Word and Mouth event featured all things film and television, collectables, gaming and superheroes with guest speakers across more than 50 stalls.

Modelled on popular science fiction and pop culture festivals, such as Comic-Con and Supernova, the event attracted more than 1000 people from across the state to the Goulburn Valley.

Crowd favourites included Cosplay parades and information sessions from LEGO Masters contestants Jimmy Eaton and Maddy Tyers and comic artists Chris Kennett and Dean Rankine.
