Inglis blasted 110 off just 50 deliveries on Thursday (Friday AEDST) to become the fifth Australian - after Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Shane Watson and David Warner - to post a T20 international ton.
Just four days after Australia's emphatic World Cup final triumph, Inglis crunched 11 fours and eight sixes in his whirlwind knock in the shorter format.

He raised his ton off 47 balls to equal the record held by Finch - against England at Southampton in 2013 - for the quickest T20I hundred by an Australian.
Inglis wasn't required to bat in Sunday's upset World Cup final triumph and scored only 159 runs at 19.87 for the tournament, but he showcased his talents - and Australia's depth - when given a chance at No.3.
After opener Matt Short was bowled for 13 by a Ravi Bishnoi wrong 'un, Inglis and Steve Smith (52) put on 130 for the second wicket against India's unrecognisable second-string attack, which featured none of the heartbroken World Cup finalists.
Legspinner Bishnoi grassed a caught-and-bowled chance when Smith was on 15, later dropped Marcus Stoinis in the deep on one, and fluffed a regulation run out which would have removed the rampant Inglis for 36.
Smith played second-fiddle in the partnership before being run out at the non-striker's end.
Inglis, whose previous best score in this format was 48, eventually holed out in the 18th over, slogging Prasidh Kumar's slower ball to a juggling Yashavsi Jaiswal on the boundary.
