Aust shares rebound to finish week up 0.5 per cent

The Australians share market has bounced back from most of its losses to close just slightly lower and in the green for the week.

After being down as much as 0.9 per cent on Friday morning, the S&P/ASX200 rose fairly steadily in the afternoon to finish down just 14.1 points, or 0.2 per cent, at 7,073.2.

For the week the benchmark index gained 0.46 per cent, putting it up similarly for the year.

The broader All Ordinaries fell 12.6 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 7,285.1.

The Australian dollar was buying 66.07 US cents, from 66.49 US cents at Thursday's ASX close.
