Matches will include senior football, the open and 17-and-under netball against Golden Rivers.
An under-18 football ‘‘Intraleague’’ game and 15-and-under and 13-and-under netball games will also be played, where the best players selected from the KDL will play against each other to showcase the talent across day.
‘‘It will be a terrific opportunity for the league to showcase its local home-grown talent, some wonderful facilities at Central Park reserve and what will be a strong crowd to cheer on our six grades of football and netball,’’ KDL president Fraser Kerrins said.
‘‘Golden Rivers indicated last year they wouldn’t be able to field the under-18 football and 15 and 13-and-under netball, so we as a board made the decision to showcase these games as ‘Intraleague’ matches, to ensure our young players don’t miss out on such a significant day for the KDL.’’
James Milne from Murchison-Toolamba and Kasey Duncan from Avenel will coach the senior football team.
Craig Thompson and Peter Miller from Murchison-Toolamba will coach the under-18 footballers.
Colline Eggleston and Jen Smith will head up the coaching panel for the open netballers and Sherryn Wall from Undera will coach the 17-and-under netball girls.
Olivia Curtis from Tallygaroopna and Lancaster’s Zoe Backway will coach the 15-and-under netballers and leading the 13-and-under group will be Lancaster duo Sandy Carver and Elly Westerveld.
Match times are to be finalised.
