There was a hollow feeling among the Cricket Shepparton B-grade sides at Undera Recreation Reserve when the scores were tied after the final delivery of the match.
Before the antics of the last over, Kyabram posted a commanding total of 9-182 off its 45 overs, with Connor Hawes smashing a blistering 50 not out.
In reply, Undera was struggling at 2-6 early in the piece after Hawes (2-25) ripped through the opening batsmen.
But Bayden Bailey (44) and Steve Valentin (38) combined brilliantly to offer the Lions a glimpse of victory.
Kyabram's Jason Parsons had the honour of saving the match in the final over and almost saluted, as he knocked over the final two wickets which left Undera's Logan Campbell stranded on 10 runs and his side tied on 182.
● Numurkah made light work of Mooroopna's first innings total of 9-160, with the Blues’ Matthew Price registering a stunning 90 not out with the bat.
The Numurkah wicketkeeper starred at the top of the order alongside James Pruden (47), as his brilliant half-century lifted the Blues over the line with seven wickets in hand.

The Eagles’ Nathan Hickey top-scored with a sublime 63-run knock that involved 10 boundaries, while Central Park-St Brendan's bowler Cam McGregor cleaned up with a dazzling 5-27.
Chasing 177 to win, the Tigers’ Andrew Butcher (54 runs) played a lone hand in the run chase as Katandra's Ray Ireland (3-22) and Ryleigh Shannon (2-28) caused havoc with the ball.
Tatura clinched its second win of the B-grade season with a strong seven-wicket victory against Old Students.
The Bulldogs’ Harry Murdoch (4-32) showcased his strengths with the ball, while experienced batsman Glenn Walker (60 runs) stole the show at the crease in Tatura's run chase.

The Jets’ Dallas Furnell (4-19) and Sam Dawes (3-14) made life difficult for the Euroa batsmen, with the duo rolling through the Magpies for 106.
And Pine Lodge cruised to a six-wicket victory against Waaia after a dominant effort from the Lodgers’ bowlers.
