The Blues had little to no trouble taking care of Mooroopna at Numurkah Showgrounds, securing a 122-run win for a spot in the big dance. They now head through to face Pine Lodge in this weekend's decider, to be played at Vibert Reserve, Shepparton.
The Blues won the toss and batted and were not made to regret that decision for a second, as their star top-order did a number on the Cats’ bowlers.
While an early wicket fell, Dustan Ebborn and Bailey Smith showed their skill with a powerful partnership worth 66, before the former was dismissed for a 57 that included four fours and two sixes.
Smith pushed on but wickets began to fall around him, but his 67 put the Blues in the driver's seat as they posted 192 before being bowled out late.
Kade O'Dwyer (20 not out) and Connor Sessions (10) were the other Blues to make double figures.
And with plenty of runs to defend, the Numurkah bowlers did the rest, ripping through the Cats for 70 in 37.2 overs.
Hunter Verhoeven finished with the best figures of 3-10, while Smith (2-4) and Sessions (2-5) also impressed.
Numurkah beat Pine Lodge when the sides met earlier in the season, and will be keen to add the premiership to its one-day title.
