The ex-Melbourne Vixens goaler will visit Nathalia Recreation Reserve as part of a development session hosted by the Bombers, giving local players the chance to learn from one of the game’s sharpest attacking talents.
The clinic, held on Wednesday February 18, will place a strong focus on core netball fundamentals, including agility, movement and goal shooting craft.
And when it comes to her own skillset, Barkmeyer’s resume speaks for itself.
She is a former Vixens squad member, a national 21-and-under World Youth Cup squad representative and a proven performer in the Victorian netball system with Boroondara Express and Kangaroo Flat.
The evening will be split into two sessions, beginning with a free junior clinic from 5.30pm for under-11 to under-17 players, before a senior and aspiring senior session starts at 6.30pm.
The senior session is priced at $15 a player.
Registrations are essential and can be done via the link, with limited spots available for both sessions.
