Nathalia New Year’s Eve carnival is returning this year with lots of family fun and a magnificent fireworks display at midnight.

The carnival will have something for everyone from rides and market stalls to live music and a huge selection of food vendors.
Not only that, the carnival will have Careful Cobbers, camel and train rides, shearing and blacksmith demonstrations, an animal nursery and much more.
Camel rides will be available again this year at the Nathalia New Year’s Eve carnival.

The show and shine event will also be on again from 4pm for a chance to check out a variety of different cool cars and motorbikes.
Nathalia and Barmah Business and Tourism event co-ordinator Wayne Limbrick said the carnival was popular, with about 4000 people in attendance last year in 2024.
“It’s a really great thing for the community, it gets everyone together and draws a lot of people and tourists into town,” he said.
There will be train rides available for kids at the carnival.

Mr Limbrick said the carnival made a profit of $30,000 last year, with all profits put towards community events and markets during the year.
For more than 20 years, the Nathalia New Year’s Eve carnival has been filling up a trailer full of goodies for people to win in a raffle.
An estimated 4000 people attended the Nathalia New Year's Eve carnival last year in 2024.
