With performances set to take place at 2pm on Sunday, June 7 and Sunday, June 21 at Riverlinks Eastbank in Shepparton, guests can expect to see a small but talented ensemble on display.
This year, the chamber series has been scheduled as a relaxed winter afternoon event, allowing the GVCO annual concert to shine in a special evening performance later in the year.
Marking the GVCO’s 30th anniversary, the October date promises warmer weather and a fitting atmosphere for honouring the orchestra’s rich history.
GVCO musicians generously volunteer their time to curate a diverse repertoire that showcases both their skills and musicality.
Percussionist, violist and in-house composer Wade Gregory.

The first concert, on June 7, is set to celebrate woodwind and jazz, with a performance by woodwind group Winded!
A flute duet will offer a heartfelt farewell to a long-serving orchestra member.
A Beethoven piano quartet will add a welcome touch of string warmth, while the always popular jazz performances of Brian Matthews and Wade Gregory will bring energy and variety to the afternoon.
On June 21, guests will experience the string ensemble with new and lesser-known works that promise to delight the ear.
The program also includes a saxophone quartet, the GV wind quintet, and a brass quintet offering a rich blend of tone and texture.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
Violinists Zaeemah Iftekar, 13, and Melody Westblade, double bassist Charlotte Drinnan, violist Isabelle Ford and cellist Keri Jennings.
