Thank you to all of the Ski School volunteers who helped out on the night.
Andrew McBurnie took control of Gilflite (advanced boat), with help from his experienced observer, Debbie Jennings.
Thank you also to David Connolly, who drove ROLCO, and his trusty, dedicated observer Carissa Holmberg.
Bernie Biggs kindly helped out early in the afternoon by ensuring the boats had fuel and assisting to put the boats in the river prior to members arriving.
Sina Stempel from Germany and Dylan Coyle are very new to water skiing.
They have been practising on double skis on a few occasions.
Bernie saw potential in these two participants and strongly encouraged them to build up their courage and have a go at skiing while on the boom bar for the first time.
It was great to see these inexperienced skiers progressing and trying to better themselves.
We had a number of young kids using the seahorse - Frankie Murphy, Harper Maroney and Abbie Barling, to name a few.
The seahorse ski is a training aid to teach small kids the use of two skis without falling off.
It is fun, safe and easy to use for our young skiers.
It is delightful to see these young kids embracing the open water with big smiles on their faces.
We are pleased to announce that Wakeboard Victoria is holding Round 4 at Deniliquin Boat club on Saturday, February 15, followed by the Victorian State Titles on Sunday, February 16.
These are all day events starting from 8am on both days, and everyone is welcome to come along to spectate and support this event.
