In the last round of one-day action before February 9's batch of finals, teams will be looking to seal a position in their grade's top two - except in A-grade where it is a fait accompli.
Despite the fact they are squaring off this weekend at the Numurkah Showgrounds, Numurkah and Katandra have already booked their spots in the A-grade one-day final, with an unassailable eight-point gap between the undefeated duo and third-ranked Kyabram.
It means the Eagles will have the chance to win a second Chris Keady Trophy in three seasons, while the Blues will be looking to win that trophy for the first time.
But the race for the B-grade decider is anything but finalised, with five teams still in the mix for a clash with locked-in Kyabram.
The Redbacks have gone 6-0 in one-dayers to book their spot, but Katandra (33 points) could still be ousted by any of Mooroopna (27), Northerners (27), Shepparton United (27) or Numurkah (26).
Katandra would be untouchable should it beat the Blues, but if it loses the position would be up for grabs to any team that wins in a bonus point-inducing fashion.
Mooroopna will look to do that against Old Students, Northerners take on Undera, while Shepparton United will battle Central Park-St Brendan's.
And the C-grade battle will be just as loose, with five teams still in the running for a spot in the decider.
While Greg Watts’ fierce Toolamba side has already punched its ticket to the final, Numurkah (31 points), Murchison (27), Mooroopna Blue (26) and Shepparton United (26) remain in the hunt.
Complicating matters further, the team with the highest points ratio - points accrued per game played - will be heading to the decider, as some teams have played more than others with a bye in the C-grade draw.
What that means is who will take the second spot in the final is anybody's guess, but should Numurkah win against United, it would head through.
Should the Blues lose, Murchison will be playing Euroa and Mooroopna Blue will take on Pine Lodge hoping to jump into second.
