Norris wins second European tour crown at Leopard Creek

Norris started the day six off the lead but watched as his challengers fell short on the final holes.

Englishman John Parry, Ryan van Velzen from South Africa and overnight leader Marcus Kinhult finished tied for second, one shot back.

The 23-year-old van Velzen looked well placed to join Norris at the top of the leaderboard and force a playoff but he put his ball in the water at the 18th to finish with a 72 for the round.

Parry recorded four birdies in his opening six holes but could not keep the momentum going on the back nine as he shot 69.

Sweden's Kinhult had led by three after the second round on Friday, and had a two-shot advantage going into the last round.

Yet a four-putt on the seventh for double-bogey meant he lost the lead, and though he forced his way back into contention, his two-over-par 74 ensured he fell short.

Exciting 20-year-old Spaniard Angel Ayora and Darius van Driel from the Netherlands were still in with a chance going into the last two holes but tied for fifth on 11-under-par 277.
