The team at the Tocumwal Foreshore Committee have been busy lately with upgrades to Tocumwal’s Town Beach.
Funds raised from camping fees on the beach and from the Tocumwal Foreshore Market have contributed to the realignment of bollards at the beach in readiness for upgrades of water mains and new taps.
This was completed recently with a contractor and assisted by Foreshore Committee volunteers Geoff and Wendy Terry and Robert Conboy.
The committee has now contributed $60,000 towards the replacement of the beach’s grey water waste system as a joint project in conjunction with the Berrigan Shire Council.
