More than 500 exhibitors will come together to share a variety of handmade items, including handicrafts, home industries, photography, floral art and horticulture.
Eastern Goulburn Valley CWA secretary Margaret Guppy said the event was a good way to showcase the members’ talents.
‘‘We have a lot of entries in this year again coving a wide variety hobbies and the ladies have been busy since the end of last year’s exhibition getting prepared for this year,’’ she said.
Ms Guppy said the cookery section was a favourite, with homemade goods available to buy.
‘‘Cookery of course with sponges, scones and cakes and all different things that are judged previously so all the prize cards and trophies are out on show for the exhibition,’’ she said.
Devonshire teas will be available along with a light lunch to encourage support for the CWA women.
The annual Eastern Goulburn Valley CWA Creative Arts Exhibition opens Thursday, from 2.30pm to 8pm, and Friday, from 10am to 4pm, at St Georges Road Primary School stadium, John St, Shepparton. Entry is $5.
