Shepparton shuts up shop to sink Shepparton United in SJSA action

Shepparton Soccer Club’s under-16 side produced a statement victory at the weekend, halting a heavily fancied Shepparton United 2-0.

The Reds were defensively sound to keep a free-scoring United at bay and net two of their own, clinching a third win of the Shepparton Junior Soccer Association season.

In other games Shepparton South beat Shepparton City 3-0, while a Goulburn Valley Grammar derby had Blue topple Gold 4-1.
