There was a good attendance and a highlight was representatives from the Men’s Shed donating a cheque for $5,000.
President Marney expressed the auxiliary’s appreciation for the generous donation.
The auxiliary’s planning for the quilt display on the long weekend in June is well in hand.
The purchase of three aged care beds, to cost $10,000, was also approved by all.
Residents of Amaroo Independent Units had a lovely luncheon last Sunday, all residents enjoyed catching up on a beautiful day.

The monthly Tidy Towns and Conservation working bee will be on Sunday, May 7, from 9am to 11am.
The meeting point will be at Hayes Park.
Please bring gloves, a water bottle and comfortable shoes, as well as a friend and a smile.
The main tasks for the morning will be sucker removal from the olive grove and roadside litter removal.
This is a great outdoor activity to contribute to making it ‘Better in Berrigan’.

The next Golf Trade Day is this Sunday.
It is a three person ambrose, costing $25 per person. Organise your own team.
The day will have stroke and handicap winners, as well as ladies and men's longest drive.

Following the presentations, the Men's Golf AGM will be held. All welcome.
