Santa has confirmed he will be stopping in Mitchell Shire for Kilmore’s Christmas carols on Saturday, December 17.

Mitchell Shire Council and Discover Mitchell are proudly partnering with BG Group for the event, which will see an abundance of Christmas cheer at Hudson Park.

Whether you feel like singing a classic festive tune or unfolding the picnic blanket for a quiet night with the family, the event will have something for everyone from 5pm.

To add to the excitement, Kilmore Miniature Railway will also be operating from 6pm to 7pm.

Mitchell Shire Mayor Fiona Stevens said local musicians, dancers and market stalls would keep the crowd entertained and a number of food trucks would also be on hand.

“I’m looking forward to hearing the sounds of Christmas at Hudson Park once again and I encourage the community to come along and get involved,” Cr Stevens said.

Community members are also encouraged to bring their own picnic food and set up for a family fun night of festive entertainment.

Kilmore Christmas carols will be held from 5pm on Saturday, December 17, at Hudson Park, Kilmore.
