Having already had more than 150 positions filled, Benalla-based company LS Precast has more than 150 positions left on offer.
Owner Ashley Day said the recruitment event would give those in attendance the opportunity to ask any question they may have and gain a greater understanding of the facility and the work involved.
With steel fixing, concreting and labouring positions on offer, he said it was the perfect time for anyone wishing to enter the trade to do so.
“If people aren’t skilled there’s on-the-job training and for the people who are skilled, then even better.”
Mr Day said he was open to employing recent school leavers, through to qualified workers.
“It just depends on people’s skills, if they have the skills to do something a bit more unique then we may be able to create a role that their skill-set fits.”
He said anyone aged 17 and above was encouraged to attend.
“The more the merrier.”
The Shepparton recruitment event will be held at GoTAFE on Monday, September 9 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Further recruitment events will also be held at the Euroa Community Conference Centre (council chambers) on Monday from 5 pm to 8 pm, at the Yarrawonga Shire Hall on Tuesday, September 10 from 11 am to 2 pm and at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre on Tuesday from 5 pm to 8 pm.
