The program, which runs from September to April each year, aims to provide Greater Shepparton residents with a range of free and low-cost activities — encouraging people to be outdoors and stay active.
With more than 250 activities on offer for people of all ages and abilities, Greater Shepparton City Council director community Kaye Thomson encouraged everyone to get involved.
“I encourage residents and visitors to the region to look over the program, invite their friends and attend some of the activities that are on offer,” she said.
“The activities are open for everyone, so come along and enjoy being active in the outdoors.”
This season’s program is set to offer many of the previous favourites along with new activities including an Amazing Race, Poetry along the River, Happy Feet Walking Group, Messy Play, Plaster Painting, Tea and Scones in the Park, Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids and Regional Playground Escapade.
The program’s first activity will be held on Saturday, September 21.
