North Korea to expel US soldier who breached border

Releasing the final results of an investigation into King's border crossing, KCNA said on Wednesday King has harboured ill feelings over inhumane treatment and racial discrimination within the US army.

KCNA did not specify how, when or to where King would be expelled.

North Korea had said in its interim findings that King wanted refuge in North Korea or elsewhere because of "inhuman maltreatment and racial discrimination" in the US and the military.

US officials, who said they believed King crossed the border intentionally, had declined to classify him as a prisoner of war.
