In A-grade, Kialla Park defeated Mooroopna Lawn 40-34 in a closely-fought contest.

Big singles wins to Lincoln Mawson (6-1) and Luke Cecil (6-1) helped get Park over the line, while Hayden Pearce from Mooroopna won both his doubles games and went agonisingly close to downing Park’s Archer Mawson in singles.

The other A-Grade game was much more lopsided, with ladder-leader Shepparton Lawn Blue defeating rival Shepparton Lawn Green 45-22.

Supporters of the B3-Grade competition went home thoroughly entertained, with Kialla Park and Katandra West playing out a thrilling draw.

Both sides ended the match having won four sets and 38 games and it was a big 6-2 last rubber win from Park’s Nixon Moon and Lucas Wong that evened up the scores.
Emily Harry had a great day out for Katandra winning her singles match 6-0 and doubles 6-5.
In D1, in an unusual turn of events the side with the most set wins lost the contest.
Kialla Park Gold took out five sets, winning a total of 32 games — yet, Kialla Park Green, which only won three sets, took out the contest with its 33 game wins.
Maddie Wieland helped get her side over the line with a big 6-1 singles win and a dominant 6-0 doubles win with teammate Dakota Soccio.
