It was announced on Thursday evening that the 23-year-old would be parting ways with the club to explore a new venture elsewhere.
A statement released by the Mariners confirmed Kuol’s exit.
“Central Coast Mariners can today confirm the departure of Alou Kuol, who moves on to a new opportunity in his career,” it read.
“Kuol departs with over 100 Mariners appearances to his name in total, after his second spell with the club.
“A Mariners Academy graduate in 2020, Kuol earned a move to Bundesliga club Stuttgart a year later before returning to the Coast for the start of the 2023/24 season, in which he would miss just two games in our treble winning campaign.
“With that came his most memorable Mariners moment, his late AFC Cup Final winner against Al-Ahed in Oman, a goal that will remain etched in club and league history forever.”
Kuol was recruited to CCM’s Academy in 2019 after a breakout season for Goulburn Valley Suns, winning the National Premier League Two golden boot award.
The striker then broke into the Mariners’ first team and, after a two-year spell in Germany with Bundesliga giant VfB Stuttgart, returned to Gosford in 2023.
Kuol departs having scored 22 goals in 102 appearances for the Mariners across all competitions.
His new club is yet to be announced.
