Pennant action was highlighted by a nail-biting clash between Central Park and Old Students, where the former saluted 4-41 to 5-38 on its home courts.

Janelle Pottenger was the star of the show for Central Park, playing a hand in three of her side’s four rubber victories.
These came in the form of a 6-0 triumph alongside Andrea Graham, 6-1 victory partnered with Scott Durling and a 6-4 win teamed up with Elizabeth Pottenger, as everything she touched turned to gold.
Durling was also instrumental in the win for Central Park, adding a 6-3 triumph alongside Neil Evans to his win with the inspired Pottenger.

Getting the better of the rubbers, Old Students were inspired by Kieran Moon, who also played a hand in three victories on the day and suffered no defeats.
McEwen Reserve prevailed in a tight contest against Karramomus at home.
Playing the role of number one, Josh Hunter would prove the difference for the home side, taking part in three crucial victories including a telling 6-0 triumph in the final rubber alongside Kylie Reither.

Shepparton North rounded out the winners’ list, proving far too good for St Brendan’s to finish with a 7-50 to 2-24 victory.
In A1 action, Murchison claimed its third win of the year in the form of an upset 5-38 to 4-36 victory over Shepparton North.
A match filled with momentum swings, the lead constantly changed throughout the game as players of both sides enjoyed the highs and lows of competitive tennis.
With North holding a slight lead heading into the final rubber, Murchison would throw one last punch, claiming a crucial 6-0 win to steal an incredible victory.

Old Students solidified their position in the top two with a dominant 7-46 to 2-21 win over Bunbartha.
Michael Telford and Sam Wieland were the standouts for Students, combining for six victories as they simply outclassed their Bunbartha opponents.
McEwen Reserve Red took the points after its clash with Lemnos was forfeited, while McEwen Reserve Green had the bye.
Second-placed St Andrew’s delivered a grand statement in the A2 division, dominating McEwen Reserve from start to finish to run away with a crushing 9-54 to 0-22 victory.

The Nolans, Jeremy and Liz, were particularly impressive, combining for six victories across the day, including teaming up for a powerful 6-2 triumph in rubber eight.
Central Park enjoyed a comfortable 6-44 to 3-32 win over Old Students at home.
After dropping the first two rubbers, Central Park quickly regained ascendency and proceeded to dominate the remainder of the match, with Jessica Rodrick a standout, playing a role in two pivotal victories.
Ladder-leader Karramomus rounded out the winners’ list in A2, prevailing 8-52 to 1-24 in a dominant display against Shepparton North.
