Another tight game against the formidable Jerilderie for the Saints.
Regan Fox and Bec Ware were in fine form and working beautifully in the ring shooting some spectacular goals.
Jodi Hawes, ever the reliable defender set a hard pace and intensity that kept everyone pushing hard.
Keep working hard ladies, it is lovely to see you all coming together so well.
The Demons started off strong and moved well together, under physical conditions they kept their cool, shot extremely accurately and earned themselves a win against the Saints.

The Saints started strong with a great first quarter, passing well and running into position, everything we have been practising at training.
Some consecutive turnovers in the second quarter saw Jerilderie gain momentum which we were unable to gain back.
It was an amazing game with Jerilderie coming out winners by 17 goals.

Another fantastic win for the Saints.
We set ourselves in for a good shot early with amazing work from our shooters and excellent play and intensity in the midcourt.
Definitely a lot of positives and the Saints are looking forward to the challenge of meeting Deni.
An undermanned Jerilderie team took on a strong bodied Berrigan, going down in the end.
Behind by only seven at half time, Jerilderie had a great third quarter, keeping things even.
Unfortunately for the Dees the team ran out of steam in the last.
Thanks must go to Shikaya Hall for stepping into the Jerilderie C-Reserve team and providing fantastic defensive pressure in GK, really helping to stem the flow of Berrigan goals.

A very tight game with lots of lead changes throughout.
The young Demons were hoping for a win against neighbours Berrigan.
The Saints took the lead in the final quarter and kept the intensity up but were unable to hold off the Demons in the end.
After having a 10 goal lead Berrigan fought back for a draw.
It was a great game played by both teams.

A fantastic 22-point win over Berrigan for Jerilderie.
With the game starting at 12.30 instead of the usual 9.30, the girls enjoyed the warmer weather and made the most of the later start.
They came out firing, scoring the first three goals of the match.
It was a good hit out for the girls, everyone marked up with their players, the Saints just didn’t quite get it together to get the win.

A great game today, with Jerilderie bringing home their first win.
The girls showed fantastic teamwork and played some impressive netball.
Our defence was solid, with some excellent intercepts that led to great goals.
Our shooters were on fire making great position and shooting well.
The focus we’ve had at training on fitness was evident on the court with all the girls running out the game in the heat.
Every player gave their best, supporting one another and working brilliantly as a team throughout the match.
All the girls played a great game and the Saints scored their highest goal count of two.
All the Saints’ hard work is starting to pay off and we can’t wait to see our skills put into practice next week!
