The first cab of the rank is the Annual Golden Putter held from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29 with $7500 in prizes to be won.
Wednesday will be the Ladies Silver Putter and Thursday will be the Ladies Golden Putter across 18 holes.
Friday will see golfers compete in the Men’s Golden Shoe Single Stableford, which will begin at 11.30am. Entry is $50.
Saturday and Sunday will be the marquee event, the Men’s Golden Putter 36 holes with two shotgun start times available at either 6.45am and noon assembly. Entry is $220.
The winners of each event will receive a gold-plated putter, their name on the honour board and a share in the prizes.
Murray Downs will also have its 36 Hole Two Person Ambrose event on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 for both men and women.
The main event is a nett event, but there will be a separate scratch event for male and female golfers with low handicaps.
There is expected to be anywhere from 160 to 180 players competing.
“We haven’t thought too far ahead for the 36-hole ambrose, but excitement is building for the Golden Putter,” Murray Downs Golf Club Men’s captain Mick Kiley said.
“Both events are open to everybody, we get many visitors come here wanting to play, the Golden Putter in particular is very popular and has been for a long time.”
