Round seven of the Murray Football Netball League saw Cobram travel to Congupna for what became a mixed day of results at the park for the Tigers.

In the A-grade action, bottom-placed Cobram fell short of claiming its first pelt after receiving a 31-pt lashing from its Congupna counterparts.
The B-grade side found its rhythm, with Cobram running away to take an 8-pt lead at full time over their hosts (56-48).
Meanwhile, Cobram’s C-grade netballers struggled to make the most of their chances, falling to the road by 22 pts.
The sun and fortune shone on Cobram’s fierce C-grade reserve side, which consolidated its fourth position on the ladder with a 39-35 pt victory over Congupna.
Across the river, Barooga had a field day against visitors Finley, taking the crown in the A-grade by a jaw-clenching margin of 5 pts to finish 49-44.
Barooga’s B-grade found its match-up with Finley come down to the wire, eventually scooting home with a 2-pt victory (49-47).
Meanwhile, the C-grade action saw Barooga draw 53-53 with its Finley rivals, while the C-grade reserve delivered a convincing thumping over the Cats with 41-32.
