Tatura skipper Sean McAllister may be commuting to and from Melbourne to train at the Kennel twice a week and pull on the royal blue socks on Saturdays, but the thought of leaving the Bulldogs pack never enters his mind.
“Even though I’m driving back from Melbourne or from doing uni, I keep coming back,” McAllister said on The News’ latest episode of Media Fines.
“It’s the sense of community, a one-club town everyone (where) gets around each other.
“You talk to people down the street and all the supporters are still getting around us and there’s a sense of pride.”
The same sentiment rings true for senior teammate Kitt McCamley, who hasn’t looked back since joining Tatura after his junior football completed.
“It’s just the environment, being at the club you see all the supporters keep turning up,” McCamley said.
“It’s just such a great place to be.”
The Bulldogs pair talks more about the club’s culture, its new and returning recruits and the path back to success in episode three of the Media Fines podcast.
