A scintillating first quarter set the tone for a strong game for Mulwala as they flexed their muscle early in the game kicking nine goals straight after Tongala kicked the first goal after 20 seconds.
Lewis Taylor broke free from his usual tagging role and was running amok in the forward half kicking three first quarter goals and finishing the day with five goals surpassing his yearly total in one game.
Charley McKenna and Jackson Meade made life difficult for the Tongala defenders all day as they did as they pleased, and Owen Conway was a beast in the middle of the ground as usual.
Dylan McNamara and Max Hemphill controlled the back half of the ground all day and their defensive pressure wasn't allowing Tongala too many positive forward arrays.
Beau Seymour was brilliant out of full forward all day and not getting to play with too many of his namesakes that often, ensured that when young Beau Sissons entered the forward line he assisted him to get on the end of an unusual Max Hemphill pass in the forward line where he kicked his first senior goal of many and was swamped by teammates.
A comprehensive victory for the team setting up a huge challenge this week against the undefeated Congupna in what will be a telling match of football.

Reserves
Mulwala 11.9.75 def Tongala 2.1.13.
What looked like a competitive match on paper before the game turned into a Mulwala onslaught as Mulwala proved too strong on the field.
Cathel Deveroux returned from the seniors and played well in the ruck allowing Austin to have a spell in the forward line, however Sean Robinson wasn't letting Austin have too much glory as he once again took control of the forward half with some strong forward craft.
Hornet Frauenfelder proved that age is no hinderance for him as he racked up numerous possessions through the midfield and along with Jake MacKinnon and Charlie Drake they tore through the midfield not allowing Tongala any opportunities.
A strong win from the team as they gather momentum through the year.

Thirds
Mulwala 20.8.128 def Tongala 4.4.28.
The Thirds set a cracking pace early in the game and their fast ball movement and accuracy in front of goal was impeccable.
The Sneddon brothers were the beneficiaries up forward of the slick ball movement through the middle of the ground as the run, carry and deliver into the forward line allowed them a lot of separation from their opponents.
Sonny O'Bryan and Harley Cooper were in control across the forward flanks and Declan Wood and Fletcher Woodhead were playing tight defensive games in the back half.
The team consistently kicked goals and outplayed their opponents throughout the match and ran away with a very strong 100-point victory.

Fourths
Mulwala 23.12.150 def Tongala 0.1.1.
A great team again. Coach Dusty asked for a more rounded attack on the ball and the boys delivered in spades.
Usual suspect Levi, wacko Jacko and Byron ran around playing on a different level and were joined by Alex and Taj with the intent and attack.
Wally was everywhere up forward kicking five. He was well supported with Taj and Levi kicking five and four each along with Hunter Beams scoring his first goal.
Onto the Roaders.
