Jobe Fraser smashes Caulfield Grammar’s record with a double ton

Yarrawonga cricketer Jobe Fraser has broken the Caulfield Grammar School’s batting record making 218 not out against Xavier College in Round 7 of the APS Cricket season.

Jobe’s unbeaten 218 off 181 deliveries included 23 fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 120.44 at the Wheelers Hill Campus, Caulfield Grammar.

Left-hand batsman Jobe, who turned 17 on February 6, came in to bat with the score at 1/32. He brought up his double century with a six over square leg, which took him to 202.

Caulfield Grammar amassed a total of 2/371, defeating Xavier College who finished on 4/196.
