Impey, who is now a prominent AFL player - playing in more than 200 games in his time at Hawthorn and Port Adelaide, once set the field alight during his junior days, donning the red and white of the Shepparton Swans as well as the maroon of Shepparton.
Impey will host an hour-long skills clinic for the young footballers of Shepparton, with local coaches present if large numbers are in need of support.

Following this session, Impey has offered Q&A and photography opportunities, along with prize giveaways and a delicious barbecue supplied by the Shepparton Swans.
The clinic, sponsored by Red Energy, is part of their “Born and Bred” program, aiming to “give back to local clubs and communities by providing memorable experiences for hundreds of aspiring footballers.”
Impey’s clinic is one of many across regional Victoria and all supporting football clubs, including the Swans, are offered a generous donation by Red Energy.
This visit by homegrown hero Impey hopes to “inspire the next generation of footballers”, and “give back to the communities that have nurtured some of our greatest AFL talents.”
The clinic will take place on Thursday, June 19 from 5–6.30pm at Shepparton Swans Football Club (36 Quinan Pde, Shepparton).
