A stableford round unfolded last Wednesday at Seymour Golf Club, with a single competition taking centre stage.
Ian Richardson (9) clinched the A-grade title, notching up an impressive 37 points and edging out Bill Matthews on a countback. Graeme Kiper (17) topped the B-grade field with a solid 35-point performance.
Nearest-the-pin honours were snagged by Matthews on the sixth, Luke Rogan on the 12th, and Paula Britton on the 17th.
The fourth hole proved elusive, with no player managing to claim it.
The ball pool was divvied up among those who racked up 33 points or more, including Richardson, Matthews, Kiper, Dave Pearce and Graeme Drummond.
Saturday's competition fell victim to relentless afternoon rain, with only a handful of players managing to complete their rounds. As a result, no winners could be declared.
Looking ahead, this Friday will see a social six-hole stableford event, covering holes 10 to 15.
Saturday’s agenda includes the men’s monthly medal and a women’s stableford competition.
