The Goulburn and Murray Valley regions have been a hive of tennis activity during the past three days as competitors battled it out for bragging rights at three major tournaments.

All three lawn tennis clubs, Tatura, Euroa and Cobram hosted their respective Labour Day long weekend events.
Players were greeted with sunshine on the first day of play at Tatura with the men’s and women’s singles matches contested.
The weather took a turn for the worse on Sunday and storms impacted the competition’s play.
The second day of action at Euroa was also impacted by wet weather.

Meanwhile at Cobram, Sam Dowler claimed the men’s open singles with a convincing 7-6, 6-2 win over Joseph Sirianni.
Torrumbarry young gun and Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association talent Isabella Crossman triumphed in the women’s open singles and doubles finals and the mixed doubles.
The teenager saluted in dominant fashion in the singles final 6-1, 6-0.
