Goulburn Valley Hockey Association is motoring along after three rounds of action.

One of the highlights from Saturday’s matches was the under-14 affair between SYC and Benalla Black.

Although conditions were sunny and pristine, it rained goals as SYC skipped away to a memorable 9-4 win over the Tigers.

Charlotte Stevens was one of the highlights for SYC with two goals to her name, while her teammates Ineke Walsh, Caleb Bailey and Caleb Gillies chalked up braces.

SYC sits alone on top of the ladder with an unbeaten record and looks to be one of the teams to beat in 2023.
