Can Eagles soar again in 2024?

Shepparton East achieved the ultimate goal last season when it defeated Tallygaroopna in the grand final.

So the question is - how do the Eagles do it again?

To start with, they have updated the coaching staff by appointing two new co-coaches, Bianca Kelly and Kate Durling.

Co-coach Kelly said there won’t be too many systematic changes to what has proven to be a successful program, rather minor positional tweaks.

“We are looking forward to playing together again,” she said.

“A few of us have been together for the last six years.”

“There’s a few changes in each third of the court. We don’t know what the teams we are coming up against (are like).”
