Jerilderie took on a strong Tocumwal side and fought hard for four quarters.

Meagan Mauger came on and provided valuable relief, using her experience with some great passing and direction to help the younger players up front.

This was a tight tussle with the scores locked at half-time.
The third quarter proved costly for Jerilderie when as Tocumwal found another gear and the margin quickly stretched out to 12 goals.
The Dees refused to give in, lifting their intensity again in the final term and matching it with their opponents.
With Tocumwal’s new line-ups, new strategies and new game plays, the team embraced every challenge that came their way.

Jerilderie were disappointed with a loss, but praised a clean and competitive contest.
The Dees created plenty of opportunities, but costly errors in passing and positioning proved the difference. The girls showed great composure under pressure, working tirelessly for each other and never giving up when the game was on the line.
Tocumwal’s defenders applied strong pressure all day, creating crucial turnovers, while the midcourt worked relentlessly to transition the ball and provide plenty of attacking opportunities.

In freezing conditions, Jerilderie’s Katie Gurciullo had a ripper of a game in GS, sinking her shots and pulling in many rebounds to earn the best on court award.
Matilda Helps and Ella Breen also won awards.
In the end Tocumwal was just too strong.
There were great plays all the way down the court, amazing intercepts and lots of new and improved plays.

On a cold day at Tocumwal's home ground, the Jerilderie girls understood they needed to be switched on from the first whistle.
The game was goal-for-goal for most of the day, with neither team able to gain a significant advantage.
It was an intense battle right across the court, and every player played their role in keeping the Dees in the contest.
Despite the result for Tocumwal, the Bloods continued to work hard.
As a team, there needs to be a focus on using voices more on court to improve communication and support each other.

From the first whistle, both teams played with intensity, with Jerilderie applying relentless pressure across all four quarters.
Best on court Lara Hercus was outstanding in defence, reading the play beautifully and timing her intercepts to perfection.
Tocumwal proved just a little too strong in the closing stages and managed to pull away late in the game.
Every Toc player stepped up when it mattered, working hard for each other and never giving up.

It was a hard-fought game against a tough opposition for Tocumwal.

Jerilderie put in a fantastic team performance, showing determination, teamwork, and plenty of enthusiasm from the first whistle to the last.
It was great to see some strong leads, tight defence and accurate shooting right across the court.
