The Blues sit in sixth position with a 2-1-1 record, while Waaia calls eighth spot its own after splitting its first four matches.
Bombers coach Nikki Foster is happy with her team's start to the year.
“We only have had three girls who have played together before, so we are gelling quite well and the versatility of the group is coming through as expected,” Foster said.
“We are working well together, ironing out a few things, but we are very happy and very excited about how we are going.”
Foster was expecting a tight contest when the two teams go at it on Saturday.
“I think it will be a good game,” she said.
“It's a game we are hoping and aiming to win as 3-2 is better than 2-3.”
Katunga and Katandra are sitting either side of the top eight as they head into their clash at the Swans’ court.
The Swans sit 2-2 and in seventh spot, while the Kats are in 10th position having recorded one win.
Katunga coach Aimee Sidebottom said she was happy with how her team was tracking.
“We are tracking along where we want to be at the moment,” Sidebottom said.
“Definitely the games we have lost have been achievable wins, but we haven't had a set team with people in and out.
“Hopefully we can get some momentum and see what happens in the next few weeks.”
Sidebottom has been impressed with her midcourt players.
“Rach Crowther, Hayley McDonald and Grace Tyack are all playing some good netball at the moment.”
In the round's other matches, Deniliquin Rovers, who are coming off the bye, host Blighty, Tungamah and Mathoura do battle, Berrigan tackles undefeated Katamatite, Tocumwal plays Rennie and Jerilderie travels to Yarroweyah.
Strathmerton has the bye.
