Seymour's undefeated start to the Goulburn Valley League football season has continued with a 23-point win over Kyabram at Kings Park on Saturday.
The Lions would have been kicking themselves had they let this match slip, finishing with 25 scoring shots to 17.
Their first half scoring didn't help the cause as they went into the break with 3.10, while Kyabram levelled the match with 4.4.
A 6.1 final term was exactly what the Lions needed as they ran away with an 11.14 (80) to 8.9 (57) win.
Hudson Kaak kicked four goals and Nathan Beattie bagged two, while Dylan Scopel was named the Lions’ best player.
The trio was supported by Kier Bol and Kyle Winter-Irving, who were also key to the victory.
For the Bombers, Lachie Smith, who averages two goals a game through five weeks, and Kyle Mueller, who now has kicked 21 for the season, kicked three each.
Also among their better players was Jason Morgan, Aidan Robinson and Zac Keogh.
The Lions sit on top of the ladder with a game in hand on their nearest rivals, while Kyabram has lost two of its past three matches and has a 3-2 record to start the season.
