Julian Perta is the new Kyabram District League operations manager, replacing the outgoing Nathaniel Dedman.
Dedman finished up with AFL Goulburn Murray on March 12 and is moving on to focus full-time on running a new business venture.
Perta is a Goulburn Murray native and comes to the role with a variety of experiences in the health and fitness industry and professional and community sport, including roles in management, participation and coaching.
“Julian comes to us with excellent skills having recently completed his Bachelor of Sports Management at Victoria University and is currently undertaking his Master of Sports Business,” league president Fraser Kerrins said.
“He is passionate and excited about working in the sporting industry and we have no doubt that Julian will be able to successfully assist all clubs in the return to play for the 2021 season.”
AFL Goulburn Murray regional general manager Jamie Macri said Perta had a strong passion for the sports industry.
“We have no doubt that Julian will be a great support for our Kyabram District League clubs,” Macri said
“We thank Nathaniel Dedman for his hard work over the last 12 months during what has been a difficult time.
“We wish him well in his new business venture.”
