The stage is set for a Shepparton Swans and Echuca grand final in the Shepparton District Junior Football League's under-14 competition next Sunday.
The clubs' two sides in the competition will battle it out on Sunday's preliminary finals for a grand final berth.
Shepparton Swans White and stablemates Red will square off in the second preliminary final, while the Echuca Bombers and Echuca Murray Bombers will battle it out in the first preliminary final.
Swans Red progressed from its second semi-final clash against Shepparton-Notre Maroon, defeating the Bears 7.4 (46) to 5.9 (39) at Mooroopna's John Gray Oval on Sunday.
The match was evenly balanced, with no more than six points separating the sides at any break.
The Swans had a slim two-point lead at three-quarter-time, but booted three goals in the final term to seal a seven-point win.
Jake Cirillo was named best afield for the Swans, while Flynn Tonks (three goals), Jye Fitzsimmons and Noah Smith (two) rounded out the better players for the victors.
For Maroon, Noah Vivona and Will Green led the way, while Lachlan Howard and Mitchell Fleming performed strongly in attack.
In the first semi-final, Echuca Murray Bombers toughed out a 17-point victory against Shepparton United Red.
Inaccuracy almost cost the Murray Bombers on Sunday, as they finished the match 10.17 (77) to 9.6 (60).
Harrison Milburn and Lachlan Donchi (one goal) were Echuca's finer performers, along with goal-kicking trio Tom Evans (three), Logan Orr (two) and Brodie Wilson (two).
United's Brayden Sciuto kicked four goals to be a star in attack, while Jordan Wallace and Oscar Ryan were valuable contributors.
Sunday's under-14s preliminary finals will be played at Mooroopna on Sunday at 9.15 am.
