Eight Tatura residents have been picked up for speeding on Dhurringile Rd so far this month.
Tatura police have been monitoring the road as part of Operation Astir, a traffic operation that resulted from complaints from residents that motorists were exceeding the 60km/h speed limit, Sergeant Darryl Phillips said.
More than $2400 in fines were handed out, and the fastest speeder was clocked at 84km/h.
"Obey the speed limit to ensure safer roads for all,“ Sgt Phillips said.
