Mystery as police helicopter lands

When asked about it, a police media spokesperson would not confirm if the helicopter had landed.

The spokesperson said police located a stolen vehicle dumped at the intersection of Poplar Ave and Doyles Rd in Shepparton about 1.30am.

The Police Air Wing and Dog Squad searched the surrounding area for occupants, who were not found, and the investigation is ongoing, the spokesperson said.

The vehicle was stolen in Shepparton on April 3.
