Local artist Zowie Crump is offering a free 1.5m by 3m mural to a Victorian or NSW school or community group in a social media competition ending July 10.
Ms Crump has already completed more than 15 murals and works across the local area, in part through her time as a creative arts teacher three days a week.
She has also been working with Murray River Council to deliver more.
Through her own business, The Art of Zowie, Ms Crump is running the competition on Facebook and Instagram.
Participants must tag their chosen school or community group and two friends, like and share the post, and follow the pages.
“I usually work with schools to either come up with a design for a theme that they are going with, or I get the kids to draw, and then I construct a mural out of designs that are their drawings.
“It could be an adventure. That’s the bit I like about it, that it could be something different.
“People often say that my art makes them smile and makes them happy, and I really enjoy doing that.”
Ms Crump’s competition post has already attracted more than 400 comments, with entries from various locations including Wollongong, Melbourne and the local district.
The winner will be drawn on Thursday, July 10 at 8pm.
