Greater Shepparton residents are in for a relaxing weekend as the sun continues to shine and floodwaters slowly recede. That is unless you go to the showgrounds where the roar of the car engines will be equalled only by the roar of car enthusiasts.

Friday, November 25

Shepparton Spring Car Nationals

The 29th Shepparton SpringNats is on this Friday and is set to run all weekend. Highlights will include Friday night’s Game Traffic Expression Session unveilings, then over the weekend there is the street cruise and display, Autokana, Autobarn Show N Shine and the SpringNats Burnout Shootout. Saturday night will also see an after party at the Aussie Hotel. The festival promises to be fun for the whole family.

Bunbartha Community Outreach Recovery Session

Greater Shepparton residents are invited to reflect on the recent flooding at a community barbecue. Council officers and several agencies will be there should anyone need to discuss recovery needs as well as provide support in navigating services and payments

Victorian election

It’s voting time for Victoria. All eligible voters must vote to decide who will run Victoria for the next four years. Liberals, Labor, Nationals, Greens, independents and smaller parties will all be vying for support. However, as all Australians know, the most important decision is not about the party, or the individuals on the ballot paper, but whether you want onions with that democracy sausage.
