A webinar to share information about how Lake Eppalock is managed and the role the storage plays during times of flood will be run by Goulburn-Murray Water on Thursday, July 6.
The webinar will provide attendees with information on the factors that influence decisions on pre-releases and the various factors that influence downstream conditions.
G-MW water storage services general manager Martina Cusack encouraged community members and landholders to attend the webinar.
“We have heard the concerns of people downstream of Lake Eppalock and have set up the webinar so we can communicate with them directly,” she said.
"We want to ensure everyone is well-informed, and the webinar will be a good forum for us to present up-to-date information about the storage, how it is being managed and the climate outlook for the coming weeks and months.”
The webinar will also include a question and answer segment towards the end.
The session will begin at 2.30pm on Thursday, July 6.
It will be held via Microsoft Teams. No registration is required to attend the webinar.
The link to join the webinar will be available at G-MW’s website prior to the start time: www.gmwater.com.au/managing-eppalock
