A busy road that links Shepparton and Kialla will be closed while essential maintenance works take place.

Watt Rd in Kialla will be closed from McLennan St in Mooroopna to Riverview Dve in Kialla for one day on Tuesday, September 23.
The closure, which will include the Watt Rd Bridge in Mooroopna, will take place between 9am and 4pm.
Greater Shepparton City Council said access for local residents and emergency services would be maintained where possible.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should follow the direction of traffic signage and controllers at all times.
Marked detours and crossing points will be shown.
Council said the essential maintenance activities were crucial for ensuring the safety and quality of the road infrastructure.
Council said it apologised for any inconvenience the works might cause and requested that you planned your routes accordingly.
