Are you a seasoned performer or a hidden talent dying to come out of the shadows?
Either way, Allegro Theatre Company is looking for you to help create their next production, The Clearing House, directed by the wonderfully talented Lorraine Monshing.
The Clearing House is an hilarious comedy featuring Daryl, who’s been married three times.
Or is it four?
Regardless, he’s a busy man at work so Mum has to look after all his kids.
This fabulous, family comedy is looking for three women, two men and a 14-year-old, or thereabouts, schoolgirl to bring it to life in October, under Lorraine Monshing’s guiding hand.
Lorraine was the recipient of an Order of Australia medal recognising her involvement with theatre companies throughout northeast Victoria over many years.
After two brilliant productions in Yarrawonga, The Vicar of Dibley and Stuart Little, she has welcomed the challenge of directing Mona Brand’s play, The Clearing House.
So, if you’ve ever aspired to be on the stage, or just keen to try something new and different, to get involved in a fun and enjoyable experience with the most appreciative audiences, Allegro invites you to come to an information session on Sunday, May 18.
Maybe costumes or set design and construction is more your thing? If you are keen, there’s a way for you to be involved and become part of a most rewarding experience.
Come and join this highly dedicated, performing theatre group and be part of keeping local theatre alive.
A special thank you goes to Central Murray Bank and chief executive John Pattison for their continued sponsorship of the Allegro Talent Award for the past 30 years.
If you can’t attend the audition dates, feel welcome to phone Lorraine to make a special appointment on 0427297570.
